The Williamson Open curated by the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, is an annual showcase of artistic and photographic talent found on the Wirral Peninsula and this year four members of Hoylake Photographic Society have had work accepted into this year's Open. The Williamson Open is split into art and photography competitions and congratulations go to Noel George who came third with a "commended" in the photo section with one of his trademark still life images. I've visited the exhibition this morning and Noel's work stands out from the rest on display including my own.
The Williamson Open is on display at the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Slatey Road, Oxton from 2nd April - 8th May. The gallery is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Take the opportunity to see our members work and consider entering the Williamson Open yourselves next Spring.
