"Gannets Fishing Off Bass Rock" by Ken Lewis
Taken on a trip to Berwick with club members Carol Tipping and Rob Devenish a few years ago they visited Bass Rock for the Gannets. The Skipper of the boat chummed with fish and Ken caught this amazing moment of the birds diving underwater for the fish and swimming using their wings. A lovely image.

London Salon Success for Diana Magor

Diana Magor is feeling very proud at the moment having had a print accepted to the London Salon Exhibition at Smethwick. The print is of the Stuttgart Library taken in the foyer and converted to mono.

Membership of the London Salon is by invitation only and there are only 48 members in total, with 30 members entering this year each with 2 prints. However anyone can enter prints into their annual Competition and the judging is done by the members who turn up on the day. To be accepted you have to receive votes from half of the members who attend and this year 8 votes were needed.

Around 1000 prints were entered this year with 107 accepted from non members one of which was Diana's print. The images must be "Pictorial" in style and must be something different from the run of the mill club image. It's nice to see our members achieving success outside of the club. Congratulations Diana.
