Open / Altered Reality Competition

This Friday 14th October is the first of our monthly photo competitions for club members and the subject is "Open / Altered Reality" The judge on the night is our guest Chris Kay ARPS.

"Altered Reality" is a difficult subject for most of our members because opposed to capturing what you see, it usually requires a vivid imagination, composite and Photoshop skill and the ability to deliver on an idea. But don't despair as the get out clause for the night is that the topic is being judged within an "Open" competition where anything goes. The photography can be as wacky or conventional as you like.

To see whether our members will stretch their imaginations or settle for open images then come down to Newton Village Hall, Grange Cross Lane, West Kirby this Friday. The doors open at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start and a 10pm finish. You don't have to be a member to attend as visitors are welcome paying £2 on the door.

If you can't make the night and wish to take in another evening in our program then bookmark our blog, or visit our website and Facebook page for news.
