Man Made Competition Results

On Friday 2nd November our guest John Daugherty APAGB BPE1* judged our monthly competition with the subject of "Man Made". The competition comprised of a print section split into "Mono" and "Colour" sub sections and a "Digital Projected Images" section. All club members competed on an equal basis regardless of their skills and experience.

Print Competition

In the "Mono" print sub section Noel George swept the board taking the top three places with three contrasting subjects while in the "Colour" print sub section Stephen Lewis took first place with a beautiful macro image with Anthony Clarke coming second and Llyn Rostron third.

Digital Projected Images

In the "Digital Projected Images" section Peter Lovatt did very well coming first with Ian Chantler second and Brian Magor third. Peter Lovatt was successful in gaining awards for all three of his images in this section.

I need to give a special mention to Lorraine Pinder whose photography has noticeably improved this season and the judges have also noticed. Lorraine would have been considered a novice in our competitions in previous years but she gained three awards on Friday evening competing against very experienced photographers. Well done.
